CoreChart is an icon-based development tool for the programming of
microcontrollers. By grouping machine text language into icon graphics,
it simplifies and reduces the error involved in what is otherwise a
highly complex task, without compromising machine speed or efficiency.
As a true assembler, CoreChart
produces code that is smaller and faster than that produced by the
compiled programming languages typically used in product
development. Since it's code can run on smaller less costly
microcontroller chips, therefore CoreChart enables the development of
smaller and more cost effective applications.
CoreChart has a user-friendly
graphical interface. This enables shorter new product development
cycles which in turn lower development costs and mean that more
original products can be produced. Further, it makes
microcontroller programming accessible to average users. Students
and enthusiasts can quickly learn CoreChart and create innovative
electronics/ICT applications.
CoreChart includes all the features
of ezCoreChart, as ezCoreChart
is built on top
of CoreChart. ezCoreChart icons can be used seamlessly with
CoreChart icons in the same program without any problems.
CoreChart starts in ezCoreChart mode. Registered users can
toggle between CoreChart and ezCoreChart mode by using a hotkey or Options menu.
Programs written in ezCoreChart can be opened and edited in
CoreChart.

Features/Specifications
CoreChart supports programming of
the PIC16F84A, PIC16F628A, PIC16F819, PIC16F877, PIC16F877A,
PIC12F629, PIC12F675, PIC16F882, PIC16F886 and PIC16F887 from
Microchip Technology Inc. (USA). For a full range of chips you can
update CoreChart with
CoreChart Professional. In combination with elabtronics'
development hardware or other microcontroller programmers,
CoreChart provides powerful functions and features that allow
users to:
One of the powerful features of
CoreChart is the "Send to PIC" function under the Options menu. This function converts the CoreChart program into a
source (.asm) file, assembles and compiles it into hex file and
then brings up the "IC-Prog" program loaded with the corresponding
hex file ready to be programmed to the microcontroller.
CoreChart runs under most of the
Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (2000, NT, XP, Vista, windows
7).
