CoreChart Wins Australian 2005 Secrets of IT Innovation Competition
CoreChart Wins Australian 2005 Secrets of IT
Innovation Competition
There is an economic tsunami on our doorstep in the form
of cheap imports from the low cost production centres in the world.
Wouldn't it be nice to reverse this tidal wave - and create large scale
Intellectual Properties.
Imagine the opportunities awaiting Australia if it is able develop one
million smart kids and inventors.
Our team has created the technology and a proven skills transfer model
to develop Smart Kids. We have created a patented Graphical Programming
language called CoreChart that makes programming of microchips simple.
Thousands of High School students are learning to program microchips
using CoreChart -- which is a bit like Lego on a computer screen, very
easy to use.
Some students made a home automation solution for Clipsal, some made a
video surveillance system for Tenix and others made a Fault Finder for
Codan’s Satellite Communication Equipment.
It may sound too good to believe BUT the same CoreChart is also used by
professional engineers to dramatically reduce the crucial time to
market. By the way, microchip programming is normally only taught in
Universities and Tafes and therefore CoreChart is giving our students
years of head start.
NASA engineers have recommended CoreChart to the multimillion dollar “US
FIRST” robotics competition. This mother of all robotics competitions
was started 16 years ago to stimulate the study of Science and
Engineering in Schools on a very large scale. Unfortunately the existing
technology is proving too hard for the students. CoreChart will now be
used to tap the talents of American children.
Singapore's Economic Development Board is exploring ways to make
CoreChart “Iconic” by embedding it in their education system through
prestigious Embedded Software Development Centres that partner up with
the likes of Intel, Microsoft, Texas Instruments etc. They want their
students to create wealth through innovative embedded microchip
applications!
The Australian Electronics Industry Action Agenda has endorsed the
CoreChart Robotics Peer Mentoring microchip skills development program
for national expansion – worth $6 million over 5 years for 20,000
students.
The deputy chairman of South Australia’s Economic Development Board has
come out with his own money to sponsor the program. He has written to a
large number of businesses (Banks, Car Manufacturers, Wineries, Mining
companies, Coca-Cola, Breweries, Origin Energy etc) to ask them to
support the CoreChart RPM microchip innovation skills development
initiative.
We do not want CoreChart to create another Black Box Flight Recorder
Experience, which was the offshore commercialization of a famous
Australian invention because it did not receive Australian support.
We prefer our nation to embrace this technology rapidly so that our
children can compete in the global economy.
Whichever way you look at it, CoreChart will generate large revenues for
an economy that has the vision to run with it.
We believe Australia is in the ideal position to develop a new
generation of Smart Kids.
