The AMTC program is an initiative to empower African & South Australian youth with ICT skills complemented by skills in business development, micro-finance, media communication, marketing, management etc. It is supported by the African Communities Council, His Excellency the Governor of SA, Parliamentary Secretary for Multicultural Affairs and Settlement Services, volunteer student mentors from Universities and TAFEs, the Don Dunstan Foundation, Migrant Resource Centre etc.

After His Excellency Governor Kevin Scarce's visit to AMTC, he invited the students and their families as well as the mentors to celebrate graduation at Government House. The reception was successfully held on 19th November 2009.
