Recent Comments about 'CoreChart' from an electronic engineer to eLabtronics...
Hello Peng,
Thank you for your e-mail.
I must admit, the personal response I have received is almost over whelming in such a way as to make me question a lot of other companies’ business practices in regard to their own products.
The interesting aspect of this is the fact that I have been given immediate assistance with the highest regard to my interests and with the exception of a small amount of background information; you really don’t know anything about me.
This speaks more than words in this age of speed and lack of time management.
Truth is, I do own a company that specializes in the fabrication of highly technical optical and generally automated devices. I have developed Thermal image acquisition devices for a rather large supplier to the military, and in general we design and manufacture robots and laser systems for the movie industry and private events.
My background includes degrees in Photonics and Electronics and it would seem, programming has never been a big plus for me. Feeble attempts at Assembly, C+, etc. all ended the same way…I hired someone else to program for me. We could talk about quantum physics and the 5th element till the cows come home, but try and discuss programming and the most you will get from me would be the look of a deer staring into headlights.
The funny thing is how I felt after finally finding something that worked for me, I could write a movie on those few moments before the PIC came to life and flashed the LEDs, It doesn’t matter how old you are or how much you think you know…when you learn something new and it works, that is all that matters in that time and space.
Your product sent me back almost 30 years to when my first project came to life; the feeling was just the same, breaking down the walls that shrouded the mysteries of making something work!
This has again turned into a novel worth of an E-mail, my apologies but I am very happy and excited about this new world opening up for me finally.
So far as representing your product and company up here in Canada, you have my vote without question. I have already sent links to most people that I know, including programmers.
Well I should go now…I have a letter to write to the PIC project editor of Poptronics online.
Thank you

Hello Peng,
Sorry for the lack of response for a while, I have been very busy in the film industry, I have been very successful promoting Corechart to my fellow engineers and I have received a consistent response from them.
It is the easiest way to get from the unknown to a programmed PIC chip.
I have implemented one of the programs I managed to make using Corechart into a special effect that will be in a feature film in the future, though I am not at liberty to discuss the film due to a confidentiality issue we are bound to, I can say once the film is out you might be surprised…
But for now, I am sad to say my time has expired on the program…so I guess I should buy it now.
So to the point of this Email, how do I go about purchasing the program so that I can continue?
My last programming that I was trying to do was to make a small robot with 360 degree rotational servos X 2 for the wheels and bump buttons with an LCD display and an RE232 interface using a Max232 chip.
I have built the board already and the interface, and the LCD to reflect rs232 info. And the interface works fine but I cant seen to get any control over the servos via my keyboard using ASCII commands.
I still have so much more to learn I guess.
Thankyou for your help and your time I really enjoy this program and so far I have not found anyone that didn’t like it.
I can’t wait to use it again.
Thanks again.
